I was in an entry level lagoon room and found it quite nice, I think you really can't go wrong. I ate dinner once in the hotel, in the room with the buffet where breakfast is served, it was quite good. As a rule when I travel I prefer to get out of the hotel and try local options though. You will have a great time.
