Can I ask you what your rate was ?

Last minute rate on a Friday night was 199 CAD room only and 239 CAD including breakfast for 2 (if you pay at the hotel it's 30 CAD per person for breakfast). If you book in advance it will be cheaper than 199 CAD, and weekdays would also be cheaper. Saturday nights are the most expensive normally. And please be aware that in the summer rates are higher across the board in my experience.

As for any Canadian Fairmont hotel, you can use LifeExperiences certificates to knock out 25% from your bill so the rate room was effectively 149 CAD rather than 199 CAD. A decent price all things considered.
