I have some long haul and medium haul flights coming up on CX in both F and J. Is there an option to pre-order meals on long haul CX flights in similar fashion to on SQ flights?

I have one main dietary restriction, which is that I do not eat pork of any kind. Will standard menus usually offer enough choice to find suitable items, or should I pre-order special meals for myself? Should I choose to order a special meal, will the FAs be flexible and also allow me to order items from the standard in flight menu subject to sufficient availability? I definitely would assume so, especially on the F long haul flights, but want to be sure. I do not want to make a special meal request if that will preclude me form ordering dishes off of the standard menus. As F is essentially dine on demand, I cannot imaging a problem. How is it in J?

If it matters, these are flights between HKG and North America.
