I’m searching for dates at the moment. I got screwed last year when I flew HAN-SIN and didn’t get any RDMs or MQMs. I’m assuming the fare class was not eligible. I know Expedia shows it, but most OTAs don’t show them. I’m currently looking at a codeshare fare that VN have with CI. I checked on Expedia and the fares are eligible for RDM and MQM accrual. I also see the same ticket on another OTA and it’s about $80 cheaper. Given that the departure and arrival times are the same along with flight numbers, is it safe to assume the fare class is the same? Is there a way to check? I know the safe way is to buy from Expedia, but if I could save $80, then I would. The last thing I want is to save $80, but earn no RDM/MQM!
