Stayed at the PH Beijing for 3 nights last month just before National Day celebrations so the area had kind of an eerie half empty feel to it. Upon check in I was recognised as an Explorist member and was upgraded to the best possible room (excl suite) which was a King Corner room (with Tower view). Breakfast every morning was held in the China Grill restaurant on the 63rd Floor (I think) and imo was limited in terms of choices. Gym and pool facilities I found to be decent although one time I was interrupted mid-workout by a staff who demanded to know my room number. Seriously? Who is going to sneak up 60 odd floors, get out, get in another lift to go down again just to use the gym

Overall an enjoyable stay and will stay here again for my next business trip.
