I love the Portrait in Florence. Love it.

The Aman in Venice is truly amazing. Unfortunately, it was booked full during our stay in Venice, as was almost everything, and we ended up in the Ca'Sagredo. I do NOT recommend that hotel.

In Rome, we stayed at the Hassler. Old standby, which we didn't love at first, but it won us over with great service and the location.
