Anyways, my 2 cents on "gay" hotels. I tend to only stay at these places when its a "gay" resort town (like Palm Springs) where staying at a mainstream place would change my perspective of the place a lot but otherwise tend to stay at mainstream places. Like many others, I find that "gay" hotels tend to be kind of pricey for what you get. For example, in the past I've stayed at San Vicente Inn in WeHo a few times (the rooms do need a complete redo) but now usually I stay at either the WeHo Hyatt (through Priceline for about 1/2 the price) or at the Park Hyatt in Century City for a little bit more money (where I always get a Suite and free breakfast - great seafood benedict - since I'm a Hyatt Diamond).
I totally agree with this. There's no reason to stay in a gay hotel unless you are in a place like Palm Springs (in which case, I would never stay in a regular place - you get much more for your money in a gay place in PSP).
