Yes, if you do not remove your waitlist request, then it should still be there. However, be aware that you need to have more than 3x the amount you need for saver award to do it as you need to confirm the advantages award and still hold enough miles for the saver award if it's cleared anytime. Also, redeposition of miles will incur a redeposition fee as well, so I don't think its worth to secure an advantages award and hoping a saver award to be cleared. (only worth if the redeposited miles worth more than the redeposition fee)

Don't think it will make any differences, I assumed that there's equal numbers of saver award seats and advantages award seats on board.
