Approximately how many different medications will you be bringing?

Approximately how many pills in total?

Are any medications in a potentially restricted class? Specifically pain medications?

I can't see any issues assuming reasonable amounts, backed with doctor's letters and prescriptions.

Obviously I wouldn't pack life-affecting medications in my checked bags, as they might prove challenging to replace.

Have you encountered any issues traveling elsewhere with these meds?
