For old time's sake, I found myself drawn to Tesco Brook Green today, wandering the aisles, hoping against hope that I'd spot some new points opportunity. Every yellow sign brought more "Buy 2 get 1 free!" shaped disappointment. There's nothing to report.

Apart from.... my first sighting of self-service checkouts in Tesco. Come the next promotion, ladies and gentlemen, we shall have to be very, very self-disciplined. Tesco might smell an elephant sized rat if they find us buying 999 jars of coffee when they only put 24 on the shelves.
