Is global entry more rigorous than Nexus? Or is the approval process the same?
I have been conditionally approved for Nexus. I wanted Nexus simply for TSA precheck and Nexus is somehow even cheaper than TSA precheck, but now I'm thinking, hey, I could just get Global Entry instead. My question is, are the requirements any different? The interview portion of Nexus seems really easy: I just have to bring my passport, my driver's license, and nothing else, according to my appointment confirmation. Does Global Entry require more documentation or anything? Does it take longer to get approved or is it harder to get? Just curious if there are more hurdles. Thanks!
