On a not-so-positive note, scoring a 2PM checkout is generally the best you can hope for; asking for 4PM will have the staff laughing in your face at the idea.
This is the only thing that keeps me loyal to Marriott at the moment. The second Hilton introduces a guaranteed 4pm checkout I will switch. Until then, I only stay at luxury Hilton brands covered under Amex FHR 4pm checkout.
