I tried to redeem for IHG points yesterday. It said I couldn't because i had already redeemed within the redemption period. The thing is, there are no redemption periods for IHG.
I wrote to customer service and got I "don't know, we'll investigate" response. So I figured I'd check here to see if anyone has ever had that experience and if there was a resolution.
I had the same thing happen a few days ago. Tweeted them to see if they could help but got no response.
