I find the passenger flow for ITD OSS at YVR a bit convoluted...

You first have to head to the kiosks (regular or Nexus) that all arriving passengers, whether OSS or not, have to use. Then you proceed to a CBSA officer, who then u-turns you to the back corner of the customs hall, where there is yet another line and another CBSA check before your boarding pass again gets scanned before boarding the bus.

I didn’t see any signs directing passengers, but admitted I also wasn’t paying complete attention as I just got off a 14hr flight. I saw a sign for Canada connections to the right of the escalators that took you down into the customs hall and immediately went that way.

Someone really needs to re-align this process so it flows much better and is intuitive.
