We last went to Venice in January 2016 (Ca' Sagredo) and we had such a great time we are thinking of going back next January. I've been trawling around various hotel options and find I am irresistibly drawn to the new St Regis, occupying the site of the old Westin. The location is stunning and the remodel looks equally impressive. Any feedback on this hotel? I can get quite competitive rates by booking through the BA exec club.

BTW - I appreciated FlyerEC's report on the Aman even if it took longer to load up than it would take to actually fly there.
