Question Short 1200 MQDs for Diamond - should I go for it?
So I will end up about 1200 MQDs short for 2020 DM status.

I have an upcoming trip to PVG, which I can upgrade to D1 for $1352 which will get me to DM. I can pay outright or use 135,200 miles.
I anticipate next year I will make GM or PM, since my travel will be less than this year.

Let me know your thoughts:
1. Should I go for DM or stick with PM with a boatload of rollover MQMs?
2. Should I pay outright or use the miles? (I am thinking I could justify it for a no cost path to DM)
