Indeed you are correct... I didn't realize how many flights land early morning until checking out the MIA arrivals board just now!
That's good information, I appreciate it. I do have PreCheck as part of Global Entry. From MIA's website it sounds like that's only open at Checkpoint E starting 7am. They claim Checkpoint 2 has PreCheck 24 hours, guess I'll be trying to find that one!
