Try to get a copy at the record which you saw when you went to the state where you were placed on probation. Regardless of whether you are able to get it, make sure to disclose that conviction during your enrollment interview.

Since the conviction is so old, I doubt that your GE application will be denied because of it. Take a look at the following thread:
BTW, it is never too late to apply for an expungement.
