I'm just here for the comments. What a fantastic thread title.

There's a possibility - remote though - that the alarm went off for random selection. They usually tell you this, but not always. Also - no metal in shoes or anything? The IUD (well, not really IUD in this case) metal has to be minuscule, but I am not familiar cause of the Y chromosome I carry so maybe it isn't?
