Doing some research before our trip I found 2 weather stations that are much closer and I added them to the wiki:

There is a weather station on Magoodhoo about 20km / 13mi north east of Vommuli - https://www.accuweather.com/en/mv/ma...-forecast/5583
There is another weather station on Kudahuvadhoo as well, about 27km north.

Its still very unpredictable, but they were much more accurate.
