When I was shopping for a case the Rimowa store only had those on display and had to find one without these tags in the back somewhere. I understand that bags with chargers could be a risk but are they banning the bags with electronic tags. I didn't buy one, at least partly because of the uncertainty but it seems strange that an airline would sell them if they were a problem. Or do these not count?
Those tags use E-Ink displays, so only draw power when it needs to draw new info on it, so suspect it doesnt use Lithium Ion batteries.
