I realize most of you are sick of stupid questions but I'm not sick of being stupid, yet. Yes, I'm a lofty Bronzer
but I've always booked through ba.com. Did a flight + car itinerary on ba.com and then tried it on Iberia.com.
All four legs are on BA metal - same everything yet it is 750 quid cheaper via Iberia! I've allayed the little
lady's concerns regarding Avios and Tier points, although maybe not mine, but in perusing threads on IB flights
on BA metal it seems there is some question as to booking your seats.
Can one book the seats at time of purchase?
Can one book the seats on Iberia.com later?
Can one book the seats on BA.com later?
It also seems that Iberia can be a laggard on crediting your Avios and Tier points, yeah?

I just re-read the fine print. IB Flt # on BA metal means Avios but no Tier points, yeah?
I guess that explains the 750 quid difference.
