Why would you delete your account? If you don't want to use it, don't. While you 1) may "no longer be interested in the benefits and miles/points they offer" and 2) have "read a lot of bad comments on their program and also personal data breach", as you must know, the program is subject to changes, some of them major. At some point, it may change in a way that's attractive to you. Why not just leave your account open and idle? That's what I've done; and I no longer credit any flights to QRPC. Since the last major change, I've been crediting all flights to AAdvantage.

What do you see as the downside to just leaving your account open but idle?
