Even if I need to charge on a plane with no chargers, I remove the battery from the bag and charge. It's not a big deal from a convenience perspective.
It is obviously a big deal if the battery goes in the hold.
Isn't the battery needed as part of the bags location tracking system? I really don't know how these things work but if the location tracking tag requires a battery to maintain it than removing the battery would turn off the location tracking tag, wouldn't it?
