Some of them are just big bathhouses,others are run by really uptight old aunties.There are lots in between.If you ask about a specific property you might get some specific answers.
I personly have given up on"gay"hotels.I usually find the furnishings and service far below major hotels.But I hate B&B's also.I am a single guy-perhaps if I was traveling with a partner than staying at a gay place would be more important.
