Hi All, I need some advice on this, as I'm trying to read all online, and all 423 pages on this very helpful wiki!

My situation, Irish passport, Irish resident, (no Turkey stamps!) I had tried to get China Visa at Irish Embassy, but they have no appointment for 4 weeks!. So I will avail of the TWOV.

My flights
LH; LCY - FRANKFURT - BEIJING - arrive Beijing and get TWOV as 4 days later I have booked flights with CX Beijing to Hong Kong, one way, and hotel booked in Hong Kong
Once I get to Hong Kong, I internet to try get my China visa there (24 hour turnaround) As I want to tavel to Guangzhou for world fair.

My concern is, currently my LH flights ticketed is LCY - FRA - PEK, but return, 3 weeks later, However I do have onward flights within 144 hours to Hong Kong, so will this be issues getting TWOV issued?
