D1 flight SYD to LAX. IFE had to be rebooted a couple of times. Slight inconvenience which I didn't think too much about. But the lights in the whole D1 cabin could not be dimmed on the whole 13 hour flight (while the rest of the plane could be dimmed). Made it slightly harder to sleep though luckily it was primarily a day flight (as opposed to the LAX SYD leg). Purser took everyone's SM details and she offered me 15,000 RDM. It hasn't been posted yet (it's been 36 hours). How long does it take to post when they put it straight to their hand held on the flight? I used my GUC to upgrade (my last few months being DM) so it was nice to have a suite already, but I overheard other paid customers complaining that the 15k compensation isn't adequate for the sleep they couldn't get. Thoughts?
