I recently booked a WT flight from LHR to JFK returning on the daytime in WTP. I have called to UUA the outward to WTP and was quoted the expected 13000 Avios with additional fees of over £200! I regularly UUA from WTP to CW and happily pay the £100 or so in extra taxes but is it really over £200 in tax to UUA from WT to WTP? if so, why would anyone ever UUA from WT to WTP?!
