However, you may feel trapped on property at night if you don't have a car. There is no Uber but there is taxi service available..

It is worth looking up if you need a car seat in the taxi. If you do need a car seat in a taxi then I would recommend renting a car and bringing the car seat. Can you get away with the booster car seat at age 3 (I can't remember any longer, those years are blur now). Remember you should also buy liability insurance for the car rental (can be bought from the car rental company) to cover you in case of a serious accident. Most US car insurance liability doesn't cover out of the country such as GC and the credit card only covers damage to the car only (not to anyone else or property).

@blackavar It's not a hotel shuttle to the Turtle Farm, it's actually the Turtle Farm shuttle that comes at least once every morning to the Kimpton for pickups. Just ask the front desk for pickup times.

If you're lucky you can also take it back to the hotel as well, but as was our case in the afternoon they stop running so we had to you the Public Bus back.

Public Buses are very easy to find anywhere along the main strip and are VERY affordable at only $2 Cayman per per person vs a cab which would likely run you $30+ back to the Kimpton 1-way. We used the Public Bus many times going both ways on the strip after a few too many $20-30 1-way cab fares. But this will be challenging at best with a car seat. A rental car will likely serve you best in your case since there isn't much walkable from the Kimpton besides Calico jacks next door.
