I'm just asking this in the event that DL follows UA and totally revamp their FFP. I know I can do a status match with AS to get the equivalent of DL Gold. The problem is that AS recently introduced a 3 month time window to fly the minimum amount of miles. It's tough when AS doesn't fly across the Pacific. Sucks that partner flights doesn't count. So I guess my question is, what's the cheapest and easiest way to fly with AS in a 3 month window? I feel like it takes more work with AS to meet the status challenge than meeting DL's requirement for their status match challenge.
