I think this also has something to do with the laws regarding BA's store of tax free booze (including bubbly), when on the ground thay are not allowed to serve these drinks... as for the others that do, I think BA was just the example of how things will be on every airline soon the way the business is going... Champagne is and stays the most discussed beverage on board, I wonder how many of you have large amounts of the stuff at home that you need to drink before everything you do
