The best part for me about the gym was the wraparound terrace overlooking Times Square, where I was able to bring a mat and have a yoga practice in the early morning.
Would definitely stay here again! Several times we had to remind ourselves we were staying in the middle of Times Square, as the property does a terrific job of making you forget this.

I am here now and can say that you characterized it very well. The bar and restaurant areas are very, very good. And sitting out on the deck in the sunshine surrounded by greenery, even if you can hear the occasional siren wailing down on 7th avenue, it feels like you are in a different world.
My thought was that this Edition essentially houses some awesome bars and restaurants, and just happens to have some rooms you can sleep in. It's not really a hotel.
Note there is a $100 Amex offer going on now for luxury Marriott properties which includes Edition.
