Has anyone here “Spent their way to Globalist”?
If so, was it worth it?
By that I mean spending roughly 100k within a calendar year on non-Hyatt purchases with the WOH card and staying a few nights to make Globalist Status.
A friend of mine has had the card and so far has only stayed 3 nights. They’re working on spending to meet the rest. As last month they were at 42 Elite Nights and have spent about 20k since meaning they’re at 50 and only need 10 more which is 25k in spend.
After meeting it they have a couple stays planned. But just wanted to hear from people who’ve done it.
I’ve also heard they don’t let Globalists re-qualify with 55 nights as they have been, but they do give you until February to re-qualify. Is this true?
