Your status should qualify you for free bags. For elites that card benefit doesn’t seem useful.

You will continue to earn miles on purchases as before. Did you actually put spend on the card?

As mentioned in the earlier reply, you can earn some limited PQPs to help you with requalification, but it requires putting significant spend on the card, and only you can assess if those PQP would actually be helpful to you.
