I have been following all of the news, comments, etc about the new MP levels - and while I am currently 1K and will make it for 2020 (my work is not travel based, so each year it is hit and miss) - so unclear after that..... but I am wondering more and more about keeping the Explorer card.
1) I rarely check luggage - and if I do, it is for longer international trips - but rare
2) Really dont need club access - except for international, again - I often will try to get Business either by upgrades, paying, etc
3) Having a hard time seeing what the benefits are of the Explorer card now with this----
- do we still get mile points for purchases and double points for buying tickets?
- no cc waivers

...especially considering that my cc numbers is getting hacked more and more - and replacing it every few months becoming a pain
