Typhoon no. 19 made a land at Izu peninsula (southwest of Tokyo) around 7 p.m. Japan time on Saturday. As of 8 p.m. Saturday Japan time Typhoon no. 19 is near Odawara moving toward north-northeast with speed 35 km.hr. Current movement of Typhoon no. 19 is toward Tokyo metropolitan area.
Typhoon no. 19 is currently has wind speed of 40 meters/sec (90 miles/hr) and recording maximum wind speed of 55 meters/sec (123 miles/hr.). It is likely Tokyo has not experienced worse of Typhoon no. 19 yet.
