The wikepedia entries for airports usually have the airlines & routes. Are not always up to date, but a starting point. Working backwards from the final destination can help. Just a random possible route with no particular ffp
The gcmap web site just calculates distance between airports. Not always the same as airlines, but close
International flights usually include those 2 50 lbs and thanks for the wiki/gcmap suggestions.

Actually I am not too upset about a stop in HKG after a 16 hour flight, and the lounges in HKG are not too shabby for a couple of hour layover.
True, I was having difficulty finding availability in the summer through AA. Maybe more seats will open up later
