I booked an Aeroplan ticket for a friend this past February for travel in late October. Unfortunately he cannot travel anymore. What are my options? It’s a 90K mini around the world round trip ticket to Singapore on economy.

Ideally I wish to cancel online and get all the points back and use the AP points for myself within a year, but I’m not sure if that’s allowed? I read the website but it’s so confusing about having to use the points again within a year? If so can I use the points, not my friend? It’s my AP account after all.

Can I cancel the ticket online for $120 or would it be $200 given its multi city and round trip? What about the taxes and fees paid?
