They don't have to do anything. You weren't entitled to a notification and you're not entitled to a flight change. Albeit you might get DL to rebook you. They have great latitude for CS. However you're not going to get squat with the attitude you've shown here.
Documented is just that. They can document your PNR and/or frequent flyer account that you're s PITA and to refuse any courtesy.
