Have you looked inside all the pockets for the instructions on setting the combination? If you have never used the bag it is probably there and as the bag is open you should be able to set the combination. If no paper there is usually a little tab or switch to flip on the inside of the lock, set the combination then set the switch or tab back to normal position.
