Need a lie flat seat from LAX to JFK - AA miles or JetBlue
I need one lie flat seat from LAX to JFK on a specific Sunday in November. Nonstop only.
1) AA has award availability at 62,500 miles for the times I am looking at - they go as low as 52,500 miles that day (no saver availability)
2) JetBlue has a flight for $899 - I could pay in cash
3) I can redeem 59,933 Chase UR points for the JetBlue flight through the portal
What is the better deal here? Any chance AA will open up saver inventory for these flights? I checked Delta, they are asking for 100,000 miles, and there is little chance of being able to book via Virgin Atlantic
