I have recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kiev with my family. I booked two rooms on points (one under my name and the other for a family member as a Guest of Honor). My room was upgraded to an Ambassador suite (a premium suite) and my relatives' were given a deluxe room connected to my suite. The welcome amenity was a bottle of wine, a giant bowl of fruit and some macaroons. Check-in was done "by the book" with my Globalist status acknowledged, late check out offered, etc.
Every single interaction with the hotel staff was pleasant and everyone went out of their way to accommodate our requests. There was a small mix up with a restaurant reservation I asked the concierge to make for me but it was the restaurant's fault.
Globalist breakfast was at the restaurant, even though there is a Regency club that offers cocktail receptions every evening.
I think this the nicest Hyatt Regency I have every stayed at and it could easily be a Park Hyatt with some minimum changes.
