I've flow the Delta 767-300 in EC SEA-PEK on the 767-300 and the A350 in regular coach from LAX to PVG. I've also flown MU LAX-PVG a number of times, but always in biz class. Cattle class on China Eastern did not look so good past the curtain.

For a widebody over-water flight, the 767-300 is Delta's best plane when in coach, and the worst plane when in biz class. In coach, it has 2-4-2 seating. The 4 EC seats on either side of the center bathroom has unlimited legroom in the exit row. OP has Gold status, so he should be to pick a non-middle seat.

DL crews make regular snack and water/drink runs thru the coach cabin. MU crews don't make drink passes even through the biz class except for the initial dinner and arrival breakfast. God help those in coach on China Eastern. In all fairness, the China Eastern flight is a very late red-eye, and the FA's will bring you something if you ask.
Thanks for the comment. Sounds like DL is already better than UA. Seriously, I should write an email/letter to Oscar Munoz and tell him to eat the same meals that I had in Y on their trans-pacific flights. It's not comparable to anything that I've had on NH, JL, CX, MU, HX. I'm not even a good cook by any standard and I know I can make a better meal. You got any comments on the quality of the food and what kind of snacks are offered on DL?
