The negative miles sounds like they have decided for some reason that you did not qualify for the miles and they have removed them. Wait and do a claim for them or try contacting the Hinderdesk but this may be a waste of your time as you have experienced.

Most miles seem to credit within 30 days, if they do not then claim for these on line after the 30 day period.
