Yea I was hoping someone here might have some more news about this. I live in Vancouver and work at YVR and am a star gold customer, plus a fan of Turkish airlines from my experiences. So this would be a killer new route, finally something coming here that's not just mainland China! But I'm still a little skeptical since it only seems to have come from that one source.

Fingers crossed it gets confirmed, I've seen the 787 Biz seat in pictures, looks like a huge improvement on the current 777 seat and garbage 2-3-2 setup. I can only assume the 350 will get the same. So the aircraft doesn't much matter to me, though we already have lots of 787s here, so 350 would be nice. Honestly I think this route could've worked before with the 777 on like a 3x per week basis. But we've had to wait and hopefully we can pay it back by supporting the route if it gets going. I'd love to see TK year round, and hopefully daily at some point here at YVR. We've got lots of seasonal carriers, lots of Chinese carriers, nothing from the ME3 so Turkish would be a really welcome addition.
