A, um, friend of mine got a 50 percent MQM bonus (seat upgrade bonus) on his 2 inbound legs. He can't really figure out why: he did do a SDC, and there was a bit of confusion rebooking it, but he didn't upgrade. But anyway - the miles turned up in his account.

Do you think they will stay there? Is there any reason DL would revisit this and take those miles away? The extra miles actually could make the difference between medallion levels for next year, and he might take a MR trip that he otherwise wouldn't have, because now it only needs to be a 1000-mile trip instead of a 2500-mile trip.
