Just saw an article from Crain’s New York that Kingside and The Roof will be closing by the end of 2019, and 107 jobs will be terminated; no word, however, on what venues will replace them. Seems extreme to imagine a premium Marriott property operating with zero onsite dining venues, so I hope they have plans to quickly turn them over into something once the Gerber Group checks out; perhaps a Latest Recipe/Cuisines for Kingside and a Longitude/Latitude for The Roof?
