There is NO equipment surcharge of roughly $300 visible in the construction. I think inside Canada the engine selects a higher fare intended for lie-flat equipment, rather than a seperate surcharge.

Here it has chosen the same price fare for both directions, even though only the return direction is a lie-flat.
YVR-YYZ has the visible surcharge.

YYC-YYZ P21RCEL has an equipment restriction to mainline narrow-body, or requires it to be operated by a rouge flight number on a 767.
P21ZCEL allows any equipment.

So it does seem that you're correct on YYC-YYZ, but I have no idea why it isn't consistent.
