Lounge is very handy for fast track security - note though you still need to do passport control when you have gone through lounge. Most of the time this is fine and there are separate EU/non-EU queues - I have been a couple of times though (been a while since now though) where it has been chaos and been close to missing flight as I relaxed in lounge knowing I had fast track. Always bus to/from aircraft as well so fast track boarding means first on buss

Ps lounge also accepts Priority Pass etc. so an option for access
