Looking up the reservation from a Hotwire/Priceline/etc. confirmation used to be a thing at many of the hotel brands' websites, but it hasn't been in quite a while. It even used to be possible at some chains to see what rate Priceline paid for the room you reserved so that you could see how far off you were on your bidding price. Ah, the good ol' days. Sigh.
